The terroir

The climate, the soil conditions and the orientation of the vineyards play a prominent role in the optimal ripening of the grapes.

Vineyard “Pianizza di Sotto”

at 440 metres above sea level

In the vineyard “Pianizza di Sotto” near Caldaro at 440 meters above sea level, on calcareous, gravelly moraine soils, our Sauvignon, the Schiava, as well as a part of the Cabernet Sauvignon flourish to give fruity and elegant wines.

Vineyard “Corona”

at 800 metres above sea level

Our third location is named "Corona" near Cortaccia at 800 meters above sea level with loamy limestone gravel soils where the Sauvignon and our Pinot Blanc find optimal conditions to thrive. The soil and the altitude of the vineyard give the wines minerality and depth.
