Brilliant ruby-red in color.
This Cabernet Sauvignon Riserva displays intensive scents of wild cherries and blackcurrants with nuances of chocolate and tobacco. On the palate the wine is full-bodied and well-structured with generous tannins.
Vineyards
The vineyards are situated in Caldaro - Pianizza di Sotto at two different elevations. One at 440 m above sea level on a calcareous gravel soil and the other one in the area “Feld” around 282 m above sea level with porphyritic elements additional to the calcareous gravel soil.
Food pairing
This food-friendly red is particularly suitable for roasts, game and ripe, spicy cheese.
Aging: 10 years and more.
